A visit to De Pont Museum begins before you even step inside the museum. On this page, you’ll find everything you need to plan a smooth and enjoyable trip – from getting here and parking to accessibility. So you can arrive knowing exactly what to expect and give your full attention to the art.
GETTING HERE
By Foot
From Tilburg Central Station, it is a 15-minute walk to De Pont Museum. Exit the station on the north side and turn left onto Burgemeester Brokxlaan. Turn right at Gasthuisring and follow this road straight ahead. You will pass the green Wilhelminapark on your right-hand side. Just past the park, turn left and you will already see De Pont Museum ahead.
By Car

De Pont Museum has its own car park with space for 20 vehicles. A parking ticket costs €5 and is available from the museum reception during opening hours. Please note: if you leave the car park after the museum has closed – for example, to explore the city – an additional charge of €25 will apply.
Paid parking is in operation in the surrounding area. Prefer a car park? You can use Knegtel or Spoorzone-Zwijsen, both less than a 10-minute walk from the museum.
Behind our car park, two spaces are reserved for visitors with disabilities. Further information can be found under accessibility. Please note that spaces cannot be reserved.
By Public Transport

The museum is approximately 15 minutes on foot from Tilburg Central Station. For a more novel way to arrive, consider taking a cycle taxi – a great way to see more of the city along the way.
From Tilburg station, the easiest options for bus are:
- Bus 5 towards Noord-Stokhasselt, stop Textielmuseum
- Bus 7 towards West ETZ Tweesteden, stop Kwaadeindstraat
By Bicycle
Arriving by bicycle? You can park your bike in the designated racks in our bicycle parking, located directly at the entrance to De Pont Museum. Please note that the bicycle parking is not supervised. Would you prefer to park your bicycle in a supervised location? You can do so at the free, managed bicycle parking facility at the Spoorzone Zwijsen car park.
ACCESSIBILITY
Mobility aids including wheelchairs, walking frames, and small mobility scooters are welcome in the museum. A number of wheelchairs and walking frames are also available to borrow from the reception desk. We recommend reserving these in advance by emailing us.
Jassen en tassen
It is not permitted to carry coats or jackets, umbrellas, backpacks (including children’s knapsacks), bags and/or any other objects with dimensions larger than a sheet of A3 paper (roughly 30 by 42 cm) into the Museum and can be stored in a free locker or in the (unattended) cloakroom. Small bags are permitted but must be worn at the front of the body.

By offering free admission, we hope to make contemporary art more accessible and inspire a new generation of visitors.Who is it for and how does it work?Free admission for everyone aged 0–26. If there is any doubt about your age, we may ask for a valid ID.
Mobility aids are welcome at De Pont Museum. You can also borrow a wheelchair, walking frame, or folding stool free of charge from the reception desk. When booking, please let us know if you would like to make use of these, so that we can make the necessary arrangements for your visit.
A guided tour through the museum offers the chance to learn more about our collection and exhibitions. With an experienced and inspiring guide, you will take a closer look at our contemporary artworks. The guide will tell you the real stories behind the pieces and provide you with surprising insights. A guided tour at De Pont Museum lasts 60 minutes and is available for groups of up to 20 people. Reservations can be made up to two weeks before your visit. Cancellation is free of charge up to 48 hours in advance.
