Students
Come and see art at De Pont Museum. For students, the museum offers two options: a guided tour through the exhibitions and the collection presentation, or an independent visit in which they can experience and explore art at their own pace. Both approaches invite critical looking, reflecting, and making connections with themes relevant to vocational (MBO), higher vocational (HBO) and university (WO) programmes.
Guided Tour for Students
During the guided tour, students discover contemporary art from new perspectives. The guide invites them to look attentively, reflect, and discuss what they see. This creates space for personal interpretation, enquiry, and dialogue.
The tour takes in the exhibitions and the collection presentation, where works from our collection of over a thousand pieces are shown in changing displays. Both the temporary exhibitions and the collection presentation may offer unexpected points of connection for a wide range of MBO, HBO, and WO programmes.
When booking, there is space to indicate specific wishes, subjects, or themes, so that the guide can tailor the tour to the course of study and the educational programme.
Duration: 60 minutes
Cost English-language tour € 110,- per hour
Independent Visit
Students can also visit De Pont Museum without a guided tour. Our museum is an inspiring setting for reflection and discussion about current themes in contemporary art.
Please note that groups of 15 or more students are required to register in advance. De Pont Museum is free for everyone up to and including 26 years of age.
