Film is a major source of inspiration for Toon Verhoef’s paintings. On Thursday 27 August, his fascination with the moving image will take centre stage at De Pont Museum. Toon Verhoef has curated a selection of films that will be screened throughout the day. In the evening, he will be in conversation with director Martijn van Nieuwenhuijzen to talk more about his choice of films. The evening will conclude with a concert by Gwen Cresens on the bandoneón.
