Gaufrettes Sequence Randomly

A continuing preoccupation of Janssens is how colored glass can create luminary interventions in a space, changing with the light of the day and the seasons. The artist describes these works as ‘a sort of glass sandwich’. Between two glass plates is a third, iridescent filter. Thanks to the ribbed glass, the viewer perceives each time a different color depending on his position.
